with over 3 years experience in the Manu Biosphere
Reserve and the Peruvian Andes specialising his
skills in eco-tourism, natural resource development,
team building and education.
Quinn formed
CREES back in 2003 and has developed the organisation
bringing onboard a host of like-minded professionals.
Quinn is responsible for driving forward the vision
of CREES and brings the structure and backbone required
for the team to function at maximum strength.

Representative - Alex Steavenson
Acting as CREES' representative in
the United Kingdom, Alex also helps with strategy
and general administration.
Legal
Advisor - Miluska Escobar
Miluska is a
professional Peruvian lawyer based in Cusco. Miluska
tirelessly campaigns to ensure that all CREES activities
are above board, respectable, safe and professionally
managed from a legal point of view.

Secretary (Cusco) - Gladys Lopez
Gladys keeps
the Cusco office functioning and provides support
for representatives in the field. She helps ensure
that the CREES office in Cusco operates efficiently.

Scientific
Advisor - Armando Valdez
Armando is a
biology lecturer at Lima University and has been
involved in consultancy work for CREES as well as
provided advice on a scientific level.
Scientific
Advisor - Olinto Aguilar
Our In-house
Taxonomist, Olinto is a Peruvian biologist and the
Head Curator of the Natural History Museum in Cusco.
Olinto specialises in biogeography and assists us
with all matters concerning species collecting and
preservation.
Engineer
- Ruben Hermosa
Our In-house
Engineer: an friendly and easy going engineer dedicated
to sustainable development with over 6 years experience
in the Manu Biosphere Reserve, Ruben is responsible
for keeping everyone smiling and ensuring that all
our projects are structurally sound.
Consultant
- Joaquín Ugarte-Núñez
A biology teacher and proactive educator
Joaquin also works as a consultant for CREES. He
headed up CREES's consultancy concerning the biological
and tourism potential of the Communal Amarakaeri
Reserve to the east of the Manu Biosphere Reserve
for the Federation of Natives in Madre de Dios and
the United Nations Development Program.
Education
Coordinator - Marlen Garcia
Our Education
Coordinator, a children's teacher from Spain, Marlen
has been in Peru on and off for 3 years and has
been involved in the design and implementation of
our numerous education programmes. Marlen has worked
as a teacher in the rainforests of Quillabamba (West
of Manu) training local teachers in new experimental
learning techniques and adding much needed energy
to the educational process experienced by local
children in the Quillabamba area and elsewhere.
