RESEARCH: This week, the Manu Learning Centre welcomed back the Tree Top Manu team, who spent the last 10 days taking down the remaining camera traps at Romero, Diamante, and the MLC Reserve. Now begins the task of going through the footage collected by all 120 camera traps! We can’t wait to see what the cameras caught and look forward to sharing some of the footage in the coming weeks.

Quite possibly the most dreaded event when in the field, I’ve already spent a few minutes fumbling around with my camera – but the battle between me, the sweat bees, and the humidity is far from over. Until that lens is clicked into place and reveals an unscathed image on the viewfinder, I’m not in the clear.
