Continue readingThis is not a simple eco tour. Is a journey that combines adventure, science, and deep connection. Manu Full Exploration takes you from regenerating forests to one of the most biodiverse corners of the planet—Manu National Park. Along the way, you’ll learn how over a decade of research and local collaboration has shaped a sustainable model of conservation tourism.
From vibrant macaw clay licks to pristine primary rainforest, this experience is rooted in the accumulated knowledge of scientists, guides, and local communities working together. It’s a true immersion into the wonders of the Amazon, with every step contributing to its protection.
Begin your journey through the Andes. Visit Huacarpay Lagoon and Paucartambo before descending into the cloud forest. Overnight at Manu Cloud Forest Lodge.
Watch the cock-of-the-rock at sunrise, then continue your descent into the Amazon Basin. Travel by boat along the Madre de Dios River to reach the Manu Learning Centre (MLC).
Explore trails, spot monkeys and toucans, and learn about conservation projects at the MLC. Visit bio-gardens and sustainability initiatives. Optional night walk.
Boat journey to Romero Rainforest Lodge, located inside Manu National Park. Observe wildlife along the river and settle into one of the most remote lodges in Peru.

Hike deep forest trails around Romero. Learn about rainforest dynamics and biodiversity. Evening night walk to discover nocturnal species.
Return upriver to the Manu Learning Centre. Relax, reflect, or join a final forest activity.
Start your journey back through the Andes, returning to Cusco with unforgettable memories.
Throughout the Manu Full Exploration, you’ll stay in four distinct rainforest lodges — each offering a different view of the Manu Biosphere and a deeper connection with the Amazon.
At the MLC, you’ll stay in thoughtfully designed wooden pods with:
Romero Rainforest Lodge (3 nights): Deep in the pristine lowland rainforest, this lodge is operated by Crees Manu and offers access to untouched primary forest within the Amarakaeri Communal Reserve. A place for true immersion and exploration.
Manu Wildlife Centre (1 night): A renowned lodge located in a biodiversity hotspot near the Madre de Dios River. (Not operated by Crees Manu.)
