Who We Are

crees foundation is a Peruvian based not for profit organisation, dedicated to supporting a sustainable Amazon through better understanding of the value of the rainforest and helping local people to access its resources in ways that are both profitable and that will preserve the forest for the future. Innovative research and pioneering community initiatives – read on to find out more about how you can get involved.

Whether or not we can see and feel the rainforest in our everyday lives does not change the importance of these vast forests.

Our Teams

Our teams originate from around the world, from Peru to Australia to the UK. We all share a love of Manu and a passion for our role in giving it a bright future by working together and using our range of expertise for good.

Join us in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon for a unique experience led by conservation experts

Where are we?

crees’ hub is located in the Manu Biosphere Reserve, in remote south eastern Peruvian Amazon. Reaching us is a short flight to historic Cusco and then by road across the awe inspiring Andes, through the mysterious elfin cloudforest into the tropical lowland Amazon, ending up at one of our beautiful lodges.

Live and work in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Help us support sustainable development and conduct conservation research.

Our Lodges

Our rainforest alliance verified lodges, the Manu Learning Centre and Romero Rainforest Lodge are the centre of our tours, volunteering and research projects. Set in the incredible Manu Biosphere Reserve, you can truly immerse yourself in nature.

A unique opportunity to develop career skills in conservation research, field work and project management
